How to use a scrapbook quick page in Paint.net (and a freebie!)

By popular demand I am offering this tutorial for those of my friends who keep begging me to teach them how to digital scrapbook. Most who are starting out won’t want to spend $60 give or take on Adobe Photoshop Elements. How does one know if digital scrapbooking will be enjoyable? Downloading paint.net is free. It is not as flexible as PSE and I definitely won’t be using it more than I have to, but for simple things, it does the job. To do this project you will need to download a quick page (QP). I am using the QP I created using Scraps By Andrea’s springy thingies kit. You can get it for free here.
